    False. The Germans invaded Belgium and Luxembourg before invading France. This led to the British declare war on Germany. Later on America joined the war on the side of the allies. This tipped the balance in favor of the allies and they won the war.

    The German march through Belgium was the event which brought england into World War I.

    The english knew what was about to happen with the German army marching though Belgium - which was that the whole European continent would be at war pretty soon.
