What was an immediate result of the Black Death

Apart from 1/3 of Europe's population dying off, the aristocracy began to lose their power and status. Many people lost faith in the church, and there were labor shortages, peasant uprisings, etc

People began to believe in curses and not trust in government's. This began the Salem witch trials as well. Over 50,000 people died in america alone.
