    B. At the time of the Reformation the Turks were the main issue not the Holy land. Also the Reformation was a split in the Catholic church over doctrine and believed corruption in the Church not over religious wars with Muslims. The Reformation itself led to the Thirty Years war which was more devestating and was bloodier than the Crusades.

    Out of those choices, I'd say "B" is the correct answer. Church leaders in the period of the Reformation were far more concerned with becoming wealthy instead of saving souls. To earn money, they sold indulgences. Thus, Europeans began to doubt the leadership of the papacy, leading to the Reformation.
