Both Antebellum Era and Gilded Age had the same political parties which are Democratic Party and Republican Party or Whig Party (for Antebellum Era).

But due to uttermost changes, Whig Party was replaced by Republican Party. These parties are protecting against slavery issues and developed the innovation of the economy just like taxes to be paid, currency and economic strategy.
