Why do you think reform of fdi regulations in india has been so difficult?

The reforms of FDI regulations in India were difficult for a lot of reasons. The imported goods are of very high tariffs as they were about 20% to 30% more here when compared to the places where they were imported from. India as a society is complex as is its culture. They were many competitors locally that would affect the imported goods.
