This can be defined as the coming together of employees under one united front to negotiate with employers on their needs or issues that they may be facing such as better wages and better working conditions. This is a right that is provided for in the constitution, originally through the railway labor act of 1926. Collective bargaining through labor unions is often a more effective way of getting things done as opposed to approaching an employer as an individual employee.
