Jerry Lisker was a journalist who worked for the New York Daily News during the time of the Stonewall Riots and is famous for his coverage on the Stonewall riots including depictions of both people who were found in the club and how it looked when they were arrested and how the police behaved there and how the riot went along.

It is not precisely known whether he was in the club when the police entered and started arresting, or was he outside covering it, or if he just wrote it from observing how it all happened a bit after when he gathered the information. Because of how it is reported, it is possible to deduce that he was outside of the club during the riots and was observing what was going on.
