Malala Yousafzai is known as the 15 year-old girl who got shot on October 09, 2012 for standing up against Taliban in Pakistan and fighting for young girls' right to education.

Malala was greatly influenced by her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, who is also an activist-educator. He denounced militant extremist and use their influence to oppose the military dictatorship and the Taliban.
