How has the role of children in society changed from colonial times to the present.

    The role of the children in the society has changed since the colonial times. There are several treaties that secure the rights of children. The children cannot be forced to work, abused sexually and have their natural rights like for example to learn. Unfortunately, in poorer regions of the world, the rights of the children are still not respected in many cases.
