    The indus valley civilization of ancient india was one of the earliest civilization and was located in the northwestern region of the indian subcontinent. it is famous for it's large and well planned cities especially harappa and mohenjo daro.

    The civilization of the indus river at Harappa and Mohenjo daro started at about 2500 BCE and ended with destruction at 1500BCE. The cities of Mohenjo daro and Harappa were built of fire - baked bricks.
