How did the Founding Fathers set an example of citizenship for generations to come? In what ways are Americans still living out their example?

    The best example of this is the right to vote. As US citizens are granted the right to elect their representers at state and federal level only if they feel compelled to, as the vote is not obligatory. This grants the freedom to Americans of getting involved in politics only if they want to.
