    Abolitionist movement which was happened in the United States of America was an initiative to bring slavery to an end in a country that respects personal space and gives significant value to the freedom of their people. Its belief was that "all men are created equal".

    It resulted in the rise of sectionalism that means Loyalty to a particular section or area of a nation (United States of America) instead of to the country as a whole. The Slavery was mainly the sectional issue, that divided the country into North and South to that extent that it caused Civil War. The southerners supported slavery and northerners opposed it.
