Both Presidents Johnson and Nixon attitude towards the Vietnam War was different from one another.

Explanation:

Under President Johnson, military forces in Vietnam built up. After the Gulf of Tonkin, Johnson took all necessary measures to prevent communist invasion in South East Asia. The U. S. began bombing North Vietnam and sent more troops in Vietnam.

Nixon introduced a new policy known as Vietnamization. The policy implemented to end America involvement in the Vietnam War through expanding and training South Vietnamese forces, at the same time reducing the number of American troops in the region.

To reduce domestic unrest that began to rise in America regarding the involvement of American troops in the Vietnam War, Nixon came up with a policy called Vietnamization.
