Why were the founding fathers so important?

    The Founding Fathers decided to fight for the freedom of the colonial states. Wrote the Declaration of Independence which declared war on Great Britain. Established an army to fight the British in the American Revolutionary War. Are responsible for winning the war which ensured America's freedom from tyranny.
