    The gender systems in China, India and the Roman empire can be compared in the following ways

    1.) In their social structures

    2.) In Property Ownership

    3.) In education

    Explanation:

    1.) In their social structures:

    Greece/Roman empire was strict and there was patriarchal social divisions

    While India was a strict patriarchal caste system and China operated a strict Confucian social order and guidelines for virtuous behavior

    2.) In Property Ownership: Greece/Roman empire allows for little land ownership for the women

    While India women were not allowed to inherit property

    and in China only sons inherit property

    3.) In education: Greece/Roman empire women has high literacy among upper class women

    While India forbids women to read sacred texts and China upper classes women were educated in arts and literature and all are educated in virtues

    The patriarchal featured they share while that they were all male dominated societies and their women were weak. They limit the rights of their woman to perform ceratin tasks and doing certain things.

    The differences is that while Rome (and Greece for that matter) used patriarchal social divisions, India used a caste system, and China used a strict social order and strict behavioral guideline

    and

    While Indian women were afforded with the opportunity to become Buddhist nuns and enjoy a partial freedom, In contrast with Chinese, whose women were at the bottom of society, and the Roman women were regarded as lowly in Athens, their status only improving slightly with the rise of the Roman Empire.
