Why is the Mexican - American War, westward expansion, and the War on Terror (2001 - present, Iraq & Afghanistan) all examples of U. S. imperialism? And why are they not examples or imperialism? Just give a list of reasons (not paragraph).

    1-Mexican American War

    It was considered westward expansion because it gave the US Texas and Arizona.

    2-Afghanistan and Iraq

    These show American imperialism because the US didn't agree with the factions running the country and wanted a democracy in place. They are not examples because it doesn't show the direct facts and cause of American influence
