Increase in racism and further divide in already divided communities

1) forced assimilation of minority cultures into a nation's majority culture.

2) ethnic cleansing, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 1990s.

3) rise of extreme nationalistic movements, such as Nazism.

4) competition between nations leading to warfare.
