Why do you think we should remember the service of the 369th?

The Distinguished Service Cross is presented to Henry Johnson, Sergeant, U. S. Army, for extraordinary heroism in action in France during the period 13-15 May 1918 ... A posthumous Medal of Honor followed for Johnson in 2015. All told, the 369th spent 191 days in combat, longer than any other American unit in the war.
