Hamilton had a strong belief in the federal government roles. He knew that it was the responsibility of the government to be active and play significant roles in the country. He also had a strong feeling that the government should carry out many activities. On his strong views he knew that if the constitution did not prohibit the federal government from undertaking its activities, it was acceptable to be done by the government. However, those who had reliable interpretation did not support Hamilton's ideas.
