The time of absolutism was from fifteenth to eighteenth century. Absolutism give rose to monarchism. The king is considered to be the sovereign authority. He has an entire control over the country. There are some advantage of absolutism and demerits too.

It makes the governance easy because the law making and executing powers are in the hands of the king. But there is no binding factor of the subjects with the king. There may be a chance to create poor laws and because of which the subjects may fall in chaos resulting in conflicts.
