Explanation:

European slave traders involved themselves in slave exchange during the fifteenth century. Mostly Africans were subjugated as they were considered to be the inexpensive form of labor to toil in the plantations and mines. Slaves come from Slav lands and that's the reason they have been entitled as slaves.

Slave traders of Europe made huge profits through the Atlantic slave trade. Africans were oppressed as they were made to work in horrendous work environment for long hours. Slavery affected Africa and many internal wars sprang up due to the emergence of slave trade.
