    Explanation:

    The colonists highly valued personal freedom, the right to choose how to do life in their new land. So, when England imposed taxes on them without consultation. The colonists wanted the freedom to do international transactions without the tax burden, and even more they were tired of supporting Britain overcome after wars that did not involve them through their taxes. This pushed them to revolt and fight for their rights.
