    The French revolution had a very deep and lasting impact on the whole of Europe with profoundly challenging traditions of political power and authority.

    Explanation:

    It was very much argued that democracy was only partial and limited the representativeness of the House of Commons. The right to vote were being granted only to men, depended on a property qualification, thus excluding the mass of population. Religious hate people, including Roman Catholics as well as people of nonconformist sects, did not enjoy such full voting rights. MP's were to swear an oath of conformity to the Church of England. English drew comparisons with the American Revolution which took place earlier.
