Answer: This has many answers and is often debatable.
Explanation: The civil war displays MANY sides to it, many argue it wasn't solely about slavery but of rivaling issues from both sides of the party. In my own opinion, I think that it could've been avoided if the South stayed with the North and agreed to eradicate slavery, but also mutually agree to speak out their profound disagreements.
