How did Louisiana attempt to attract immigrants to the state in the early 1900s?     Answer: In the late 1800s, people in many parts of the planet decided to go away from their homes and immigrate to U. S. Fleeing negligence, land and job shortages, rising taxes, and famine, many came to the U. S. because it was perceived because of the land of economic opportunity.
