Carnegie was most passionate about the cause of education. This is where he gave most of his money.

Explanation:

The evidence that Carnegie supported education more than other causes is the legacy of the institutions that are still presently functioning that were created or funded due to his initiative. These include the creation of close to 2000 public libraries. He also created a foundation to aid colleges and other schools. The Carnegie Institution was dedicated to funding scientific research. Teachers also benefited from a pension fund when Carnegie donated $10 million.
