How were the Middle Colonies different from the Southern Colonies?

    Explanation:

    The land in the Middle colony was not that easy to do farming activities. So to employ workers in agricultural fields they need more people. So the landlords employed Indentured servants, who are employee work on a signed contract or a forced contract for a fixed time.

    The Indentured servants are given freedom once they complete their tenure as per the contract. On completion they are given plots of land besides freedom. The middle colony developed quickly because it was in commercial location between southern colonies and New England colonies.
