A major contribution of ancient Romans was Latin. It became the official language of the Catholic Church and the language of scholars in the Middle Ages. It's the tongue from which modern Romanic languages evolved (Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese).

    Answer and Explanation:

A major contribution from the Ancient romans were their inventions. Their are pleny that are still being used today. They invented the first newspaper, or at least close to one. Back then, ancient Rome didn't have paper so they used stones or metal slabs instead. They were then placed in spots where people could read them kinda like our modern newspapers today except not as heavy. Another great invention dated back to Roman times was Roman numerals but I'm going to guess that you already knew that. Roman numerals is an ancient number system and it is still being taught in schools today. Their most advanced invention are their aqueducts. Aqueducts are structures used to conduct a water stream across a hollow or valley. It was a creative alternative to what we now call pipes.
