    The ways in which the Senate shares executive power with the president:

    The president of the United States of America has separate powers from the Senates and there is proper balance and check of powers between the two. But there are certain powers which are shared by both the president and the senate and these powers are;

    1) Nominations of Ambassadors, Judges of Supreme courts and the other officers of the United States.

    2) The power of the president to block legislation or to delay the debate is shared by the senate.

    3) The treaties made by executive branch can be approved by the senates and the president only.
