True or False: All slave states seceded the Union (The North) and formed the Confederate States of America at the start of the Civil War.

The answer is false. Yes, most of the slave states left the Union to form the Confederacy, but a few states known as border states didn't. These states were pro slavery states, but they did not secede the Union, nor did they join the Confederate states.
