When Andrew Jackson took the presidency, he changed this law and included all white Americans to vote. Also, Andrew Jackson brought major reforms that bought the US closer to democratic principles. But Andrew Jackson encouraged the removal of Native American tribes. These tribes stood in the way of American expansion. The famous incident known as the Trail of Tears is the negative result of Jacksonian democracy.
