    C. Workers were frustrated with low wages, long work hours, and unsafe conditions in factories.

    Explanation:

The Labor Movement grew out of a series of complaints of workers such as low wages, long work hours and unsafe conditions in factories. They also aimed to stop child labor, give health benefits and provide aid to injured workers.

One of the first group of the Labor Movement was the Knights of Labor, they started strikes. Later, they formed the American Federation of Labor (AFL). Until that moment the government and the owners of factories denied workers any rights.
