The grievances of the American colonist are mentioned in the Declaration of Independence, which was adopted by the Second Continental Congress in the year of 1776. It contained the detailed reason which explains the natural rights of the man which includes the right of liberty, freedom, and pursuit of happiness and if these rights are violated by any government then it should be replaced with the new government. The slogan of the American Revolution was "No Taxation Without Representation" which represents the resentment of the colonists that the taxes imposed on them are unjust and the government which forcing these taxes on them does not represent the consent of the colonists.
