The London Pan-African Conference of 1900 issued a proclamation, To the Nations of the World, which declared: a. "Africans outside of Africa had proven the efficacy of assimilation into superior white cultures." b. "Africa should not be the playground of European anxieties." c. "The 'Great Game' would undo the stability of the world." d. "The problem of the twentieth-century was the colour line." e. "The world was much improved by the efforts of superior and guiding nations."
