    Art Tatum whose full name is Arthur Tatum Junior was born on October 13th, 1909, in Toledo, Ohio.

    He was an America Jazz pianist and was widely recognized as only of the great jazz pianist of his time. He was visually impaired from his childhood early childhood.

    He participated in a cutting contest at Morgan's bar in Harlem, New York which he won.

    He died on the 5th of November 1956 due to a case of advanced uremia which is due to the presence of a high content of urea in his blood.
