The Committee of Public Safety did not protect the revolution from its enemies.

Explanation:

The Committee of Public Safety passed a law called the Decree Against Profiteers. It accused the countryside of hoarding or monopolizing grain in order to raise the price of bread. "According to the decree those who have not declared their goods by next week shale be considered monopolists, and, as such, punished with death" (Doc A). Therefor, this shows how much the Committee didn't care who they killed, as long as they still had power. The other law passed was the law of suspects. "According to the decree, those unable to justify their means of existence and the performance of their civic duties" (Doc B). Therefor, any one who was against the revolution was to be executed.
