Answer: Fort Oglethorpe was owned by the U. S. Army and was established in 1902.

Explanation:

During the First and Second World War, it served as an induction centre. In World War II, it also served as a training ground for the United States Army Army Corps. The post office was declared redundant after World War II and sold. Most of the old post formed the nucleus of today's Fort Oglethorpe community in Georgia. Space was therefore operated and owned by the U. S. military for 43 years.
