The Camp David Accords was signed on the 17th September 1978 at Washington, D. C., United States by three signatories: Menachem Begin (Prime Minister of Israel), Anwar Sadat (President of Egypt) & Jimmy Carter (who also acted as the witness). This accord was the foundation upon which the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel would be ratified the following year in 1979
