What are some of the effects of the baseball strike in 1994? In your opinion, has baseball returned to its pre-1994 status as the most popular spectator sport in America?

    The strike which began on 12 August 1994 leads to the postseason and the remainder of that season being cancelled and this occur for the very first time since 1904, The strike was put on hold on 2 April 1995 which makes it the longest halt in Major league baseball history because the strike lasted for 232days.

    In my opinion, baseball hasn't returned to its pre-1994 status as the most popular spectator sport in America, it has been surpassed by sport such as football which witness increase in the numbers of spectators daily.
