Why did Hitler want the people in the Sudetenland to be able to have their own power?

    Answer:First reason was the german population. Hitler used them well but that was the official reason. He directly instructed Konrad Henlein, leader of the Sudeten German Party to refuse any proposal from the Czechoslovak government. Other reason was the weapon factories.
