Scientists working in southern Mexico have discovered a tomb. The scientists are archaeologists--they study past

cultures. They believe that the tomb could be thousands of years old. They found it accidentally. Digging into the

ruins of a pyramid, they came across a stone wall. More digging showed that the wall was part of a stone room

containing four skeletons. Wooden roof supports had been used to frame the tomb. But the wood had fallen

down long ago. The pyramid's weight had been too great.
