    The creator of sign language is Abbe Charles Michel de L'Epee

    The inventor/creator of sign language is Juan Pablo Bonet, it affected the lives of the deaf a good way because they could have a better way to communicate with one another.

    People were deaf back then, of course, and had ways to communicate through gesture. It was not understood then as a language, and Deafness was not well understood. The first notable pioneer, perhaps inventor of sign language is Juan Pablo Bonet. He was a Spanish secretary to a wealthy family.
