In the speech, Mao Zedong was attempting incite the people of China on the need to rise up and defend thier country. This is because, he saw America as a threat to his ambition to turn china into a communist country during the revolution.

Amercia has been favourable to it towing the part of democracy hence the reason to support the opposite candidate.

On the long run, Mao Zedong was able to succeed in his quest for a communist country because the people stood by him.
