    The success of Spain in the Caribbean created attention from other nations from the European nations. For instance, the pain was a catholic dominated nation and wanted to expand the religion across to other parts of the world. Therefore, the country joined the rest in exploring the modern world to use the resources that were available in achieving western hemisphere.

    Jacques occupied the areas of the northern part and named the area that surrounded France and made claims that were exaggerated regarding the mineral wealth that was necessary to send the mineral to France.
