King Louis XVI was killed by the guillotine in the Place de la Revolution in Paris.

King Louis XVI was found guilty for sedition with the with foreign countries and given to death penalty by the French National Convention but before the one day he was killed by the guillotine (a machine used to beheading the people) at the Place de la Revolution in Paris.

From the time he took the charge of the state and throne, he was unfit for solving the financial problems in the country and even the people of the state was not happy with his efforts. In the year 1792 (November), the evidence of his connection Austria and other foreign countries was found and due to this he was put on trial for treason by the National Convention.
