    I suppose the question is which Roman emperor contributed to the spread of Christianity. The answer is Constantine the Great.

    Emperor Constantine was the 1st emperor to officially convert and embrace the Christianity and soon afterwards made it the official religion of the empire. Moreover, he gave Christians the Roman citizenship as well.
