The civil right act of 1964 which marked an end to the segregation practices in public spaces and discrimination in the employment opportunists based on color, sex, race or religion. This new legislative order was not just hard to make it on paper but even harder to apply on the diverse conditions of the United States where hatred and prejudices was rose against the people who were slaved yesterday and now become equal to their former masters. The government who faced stiff opposition to pass the law now have to play greater role to protect the Blacks and their participation.
