What was life like for factory workers during the Industrial Revolution? A. Urban workers' wages were very low and made it difficult to live. B.     Explanation: The dissapearance of former common lands in the fields in favor of private farms led many peasants to emmigrate to cities in search for work. As such, factories could afford to pay workers meagre wages due to the amount of people willing to work for little money.
