Explanation:

Mesopotamia was not very rich in natural resources, although Soutern Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq) did have a very rich agricultural production because the climate was milder and wetter, and the land more fertile.

Mesopotamians traded with far away regions mostly using caravans. The animals used were the donkey for its strenght, and the camel, because of transportation. Although camels were not as common.

Mesopotamians traded imported tin from Persia, gold from Egypt, ivory from India, and silver from Anatolia. They exported agricultural products, pottery, textiles and jewelry.
