Mainly economic factors were the motives, which impulsed The British crown to grant charters, which included the right to establish colonies in Virginia and extended all rights of Englishmen to colonists. Under this charter, wealthy men invested money to finance ships and supplies needed for the voyage to Virginia.

    Explanation:

The harsh conditions of England during the 16th and 17th centuries pushed to seek new economic oportunities in the New World, specificaclly in the new English Colonies.

However the voyage was not cheap and the English crown did not have the economic resources to send new settlers to these new colonies. So the crown granted charters, which included the right to establish colonies in The New World and extended all rights of Englishmen to colonists. Under this charter, wealthy men invested money to finance ships and supplies needed for the voyage to the colonies.
